Eagleclaw Hosts Valencia CF Summer Academy

We promised it would be the best and most instructional soccer camp of the summer and we nailed it! The 2017 edition of the Valencia CF Summer Academy was a huge success. More than 85 soccer-mad kids attended the week-long program led by coaches from the Valencia CF Academy.

Valencia Club de Fútbol, also known as Valencia CF, Valencia or Los Che, is a Spanish football club based in Valencia. They play in La Liga and are one of the most successful and biggest clubs in Spanish football and European football.

The Valencia CF Summer Academy was led by Coach Manuel Ruz, head coach of the U15 Academy team. Each day, the players trained from 9am - 3pm. The sessions were carefully curated and planned by the Valencia coaches to ensure the players were immersed in the "juego de posicion" (Positional Play) style favored by Valencia and taught year-round at Eagleclaw Football Club.

Adding to the excitement of the 2017 edition of the Valencia CF Summer Academy, the Valencia coaches selected two players, Dylan McAlpin (2006) and Allyson Radcliffe (2004), who will travel to Spain later this year to train at the Valencia CF Academy.

If your player did not attend this summer, they missed out. We won't sugarcoat it. But the good news is we are already planning the 2018 edition, so stay tuned and be ready to register early! And remember, the Valencia CF Summer Academy is open to any player from any club.
