Cox-Sitkiewicz Leads Vashon to State Championship Victory

Bellamy Cox-Sitkiewicz (#3) in action against Winlock-Toledo in the State Championship match

Eagleclaw FC player Bellamy Cox-Sitkiewicz scored in the 31st minute as Vashon Island defeated Winlock-Toledo by a score of 3-1, winning the Class 1A state boys soccer championship. Bellamy's goal was a header struck 10 yards from the goal.

We are extremely proud of Bellamy. His hard work at Eagleclaw is paying off and clearly prepared him to play a leading role for his high school team. In addition, Bellamy is now part of Eagleclaw's M03 Valencia Discovery Program team. Congratulations to Bellamy and his Vashon Island teammates on the first state championship.
