Eagleclaw FC is the top youth soccer club in the Greater Puget Sound region for real talent development. From the youngest ages, players are educated in a possession-based style known as Positional Play. This is why Eagleclaw players are widely acknowledged to be the most technical and intelligent players on the field. Designed to be a comprehensive and holistic player development program, Eagleclaw provides an educational and competitive pathway for players beginning from the grass roots to the highest levels of competition. From our Primary Academy teams to teams in the Official Valencia CF Academy Seattle, our passion and core objective is developing players for success in the game and in life.
Primary Academy
Player development begins with our Primary Academy, a top quality development program for youth players ages 5-13. Each year these players will compete in the Washington Premier League (WPL) and train with experienced coaches following a comprehensive technical and tactical training curriculum created by Eagleclaw FC in collaboration with Valencia CF.
At the early ages of 5-13, Eagleclaw FC focuses on providing the best learning environment where players are free to explore their passion for the game and learn in an environment that is focused more on individual player development over team development. A key objective of the Primary Academy is to prepare players for their eventual tryout for our Advanced Academy teams.
Our Primary Academy has tryouts with no cuts. The purpose of tryouts at these ages is really for players and parents to try us out by experiencing Eagleclaw training in the Eagleclaw environment. Through these tryouts we are also able to place players on teams providing the right balance of education, challenge and competition.
Advanced Academy
The Advanced Academy is our competitive development program for talented and ambitious players at ages 13-18. Through competitive tryouts, Eagleclaw will form up to two boys teams and two girls teams per age group. Each team will have a maximum roster of 18 players and a dedicated coaching staff. Training support is provided by coaches from the youth academy of Valencia CF. Advanced Academy teams will compete in the most competitive leagues available, and in the process develop players who will have opportunities to continue playing at higher levels, whether collegiately or professionally.
The Valencia C.F. Academy – Seattle is a high-performance soccer program designed to accelerate the development of players with the passion and potential to play soccer at the highest levels of the game. While we hope our players will make the jump to Valencia CF in Spain and play in La Liga, we are confident our players will be prepared to excel at whatever level they ultimately reach.
Following the philosophies and methodologies of Valencia CF, the Academy is focused on education as the key to unlocking real talent development. We educate people and develop footballers.
