SOCCER BACKGROUND
Dax Dowling is a senior member of the coaching staff at Valencia CF Academy – Seattle, serving as head coach for the U15–U16 teams and as Director of the Juniors Academy. He is entering his third year with the club, bringing continuity, experience, and leadership across the developmental pathway.
Dax holds a US Soccer National B License and brings more than 30 years of coaching experience, including over seven years as a Coerver coach working extensively with young players to build technical foundations, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
Safeguarding & Education: SafeSport Trained, U.S. Center for SafeSport (Active) | First Aid Certified
As a player, Dax competed at the highest levels, playing collegiate soccer at UCLA, representing the United States U20 National Team, and playing professionally for Pumas UNAM in Mexico’s Liga MX, as well as with clubs in the United States.
As Juniors Academy Director, Dax oversees coach development and ensures that young players are introduced to the Valencia CF methodology in an age-appropriate, confidence-building environment that supports long-term growth.
