Your technique with the ball is really important.  No doubts about that.  Its critical to get your touches outside of team training.  You can do this ball work on your own, but many players/parents choose expensive individual training sessions for ball work.  

 

Let's be honest about something.  If you are doing ball work with outside personal trainers, its really a lot of cone-work, soft agility exercises and maybe some finishing work.  Is that going to move the needle?  The finishing work will be helpful for sure, but the rest of it? Probably not very much.    Think about it.  If you do just one training session with a personal trainer, you've probably learned enough to do those ball & cone workouts on your own and save a lot of time and money.  And we all know about "ball and a wall."  Its super effective and free!  Click here to see how its done.  And if you ask your Eagleclaw team coach, they will will be happy to give you a list of ball exercises you can do on your own without an expensive personal trainer.  All you need is motivation and dedication!

 

Yet, when it comes to the high performance athlete, like Eagleclaw players, you need more, much more than soft personal training sessions.     You need to work on being an athlete.  What about your running mechanics?  Running speed?  How about soccer-specific functional flexibility?  Are you getting pushed off the ball?  How about focused core strength development and balance training?  Are you missing games and training sessions due to muscle injuries?

PRO Sports Club and Eagleclaw have joined forces to provide the High Performance Team Training Program.  We will make you faster, stronger and more resistant to injury.  This is where your outside training dollar makes the most sense!

Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Dirk Huebner, has provided elite performance training for 20 years to a variety of athletes. Coach Huebner has a BS degree in Exercise Science and CSCS, USAW, ACE, USATF certifications. Coach Huebner is the sitting Washington State Director for the National High School Strength & Conditioning Association (NHSSCA). Coach Huebner specializes in speed development and has improved the speed for many high school, collegiate and NFL athletes.

Sports Performance Coach Dray Bailey has a Masters in Exercise Science. USAW, ACE certs. Coach Bailey has worked with various athletes from High School to Division 1 men’s and women’s teams.

The High Performance Team Training Program is open to players on the following teams:

  • M03 VDP

  • F03/4 VDP

  • M04/5 VDP

  • M04/5 AA

  • M06 VDP

  • M07 VDP

ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR THEIR EAGLECLAW TRAINING KIT TO EACH SESSION.  

WEAR RUNNING SHOES OR CROSS TRAINERS.  NO CLEATS OR TURF SHOES.
